POSITION SUMMARY
Enforces hospital rules and regulations. Conducts floor/mobile patrols for the protection of people and hospital assets.
Assists patients, visitors and staff to advance the goals and objectives of South Georgia Medical Center.
Meet all annual requirements for Officer use of force, handcuff, restraints, CPI, and CPR.
Conducts both Security Officer and Control Monitor duties when needed.
Performs duties as required for secure hour visitation with the Easy-lobby Management system.
Responds quickly to all silent alarms.
Responds as requested to the Cuddles Infant Security system.
Provides Security rounds at both the SGMC Main Campus and Smith Northview Campus as needed.
Monitors cameras as appropriate.
Provides Security to the Emergency Department and rounds on psychiatric patients.
Conducts patient valuable inventory, pick-up and returns to patients.
Conducts bank runs as needed and scheduled.
Receives deceased bodies as requested in the morgue and ensures appropriate documentation.
Supervises staff and coordinates shift activities.
Reviews reports and job performance of staff.
Assists in scheduling and assignment of staff.
Counsels and documents counseling as appropriate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
High School Diploma required.
Previous Hospital Security experience preferred.
Supervisory skills.
Valid driver's license.
Completion of Supervisory Exam for International Association of Health Safety and Security within one year of employment
Ability to organize, plan and direct security shift work.
Make good decisions and provide leadership by examples.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
