Summary:_

The Quality Informatics Analyst works with various data sources/databases, collection tools, and reporting formats in order to pull information from clinical records (including Horizon, Paragon and Series) and administrative data sources, provide statistical analysis using business intelligence tools in order to analyze and interpret data, and report out results in various formats including MS Office tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint). The scope of work for this position includes the all facilities within the South Georgia Health System. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills in order to convey results to audiences that may include physicians, nurses, ancillary providers and administrative leaders throughout the healthcare continuum.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
? BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a technical field.
? Equivalent experience at the master level job competencies may be used in lieu of bachelor''s degree.
? Clinical Healthcare background preferred (RN, MT, etc.)
? Minimum of two years' experience in healthcare data management.
? Strong analytical skills.
? Demonstrated data management skills.
? Strong organizational skills.
? Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
? Ability to work independently as well as participate in interdisciplinary meeting.
? Competency in PC use and software packages.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
