_POSITION SUMMARY_ _
_ Responds to calls for service, providing assessment, treatment modalities, and transportation of patients in a variety of controlled and uncontrolled settings. Provides treatment interventions and advanced life support consistent with department guidelines and according to credentials issued by state authorities. Provides emergency care and rescue in a variety of situations where personal safety may be at risk. May be needed to assist with the continuum of care in transferring of patients from one setting to another. Certification in BLS, ACLS. Certification in BTLS/PHTLS, PALS, NRP, EVOC, HAZ-MAT preferred.
_KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES_
Currently licensed as a PARAMEDIC by the Georgia Department of Human Resources. Must be currently certified in BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform practical skills proficiently in BLS, advanced cardiac life support, trauma life support, shock management and other advanced procedures on adult, pediatric and infant patients. Must complete annual educational requirements as prescribed by Georgia laws / regulations, and department policies / procedures.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
