Summary:
The Assistant Program Director is responsible for program operational relating to the program.
The Assistant Program Director represents Southwest Key Programs in all interactions with prospective, former and current youth/families, funding sources, suppliers and the community served.
Required to work flexible schedule to facilitate program services.

Essential Functions:
The Assistant Program Director will work in partnership with the youth and family, probation officers referring youth, and community partners to facilitate each youth's participation in the program.
Adhere to and implementation of the terms of the contract in accordance with the funding source and Southwest Key's Programs policy and Ensure all reports are submitted to the Program Director in a timely manner for review before submission to funding source.
Maintain and update daily program schedule.
Maintain and update youth referrals and discharges Train staff on program service components and coach staff as needed Provide leadership, supervision and modeling to all employees, volunteers and/or Comply with all employment and labor Ensure the safe condition of the building, vehicles and all Address all problematic work performance in accordance with company Recruitment and hiring of all staff at the Develop and maintain productive relations with various community Monitor and maintain compliance with organization, licensing, and funding source for all program departments.
Other Functions:
Maintain open and consistent communication with Program Maintain all required trainings and Travel as needed for trainings, meetings and Provide youth transportation to and from program, as needed.
Initiate and maintain effective communication with all program staff Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as Must be able to fill any as substitute if any staff are out to maintain required staff to youth ratio.
Qualifications and Requirements:
This position will require a bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, or related field Master's in Human Services or Social Service preferred Two (2) years of related experience working with youth Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Word, Excel), variety of online database Possess excellent verbal and writing skills Clear criminal background checks from appropriate entity Must possess a valid state driver's license Bilingual Preferred Physical Demands:
Must be able to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification.
Must be able to perform physical holds.
Be able to drive, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Daily use of various office equipment.
Bending, stooping, climbing up stairs and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Work Environment:
Work shifts are subject to change.
Noise levels vary from mild to moderate.
Typical setting is office space with youth for extended periods of time.
May be exposed to inclement weather conditions if driving youth to and from the program.
